BIT SNAP:

This snap can be used in place of the bit strap to hold the bit to the bridle. The bit snap is a quick and easy way to drop the bit out of the horses mouth. Excellent choice to use on the overcheck bit.

Comes in Solid Brass (SB)  on the small size and  Nickel plated steel (NP/ST) on the large size.
