Stainless Steel Bent Overcheck Bit. Highly Recommended! This bit is used with overchecks on the bridle to help hold the horse's head up. More for the show ring on the show hitches.  The bends on the ends are for a couple different reasons. 1 to help keep the horse from chewing on the ring of the bit, and  2. to get the overcheck strap and end ring on the bit up and away from the driving bit. 
Standard size is 6" for drafts and 5" for Haflingers. Both with 1" rings.

Straight Overcheck Bit:  This is the old standard overcheck bit  with 1" rings and 5" or 6" straight mouth piece. 

Snaffle Overcheck Bit:   6" ONLY
